(Price does not include intl airfare, alcohol, and incidentals.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Adventure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Join us for northern lights, night photography and hiking glaciers in\u00a0the wild\u00a0wonderlands of Iceland.<\/p>\n<p>Digital Photo Destinations (John Paul Caponigro and\u00a0Seth Resnick) join forces with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.focusonnature.is\/photo-workshops\/digital-photo-destination-iceland-auroras-night-photography-glaciers-ice-caves-plus-aerials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Focus On Nature\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0Einar Erlendsson and arctic photographic specialist Ragnar Th Sigurdsson (<a href=\"http:\/\/arctic-images.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">arctic-images.com<\/a>), a native of Iceland who has extensive knowledge in night photography and lighting on location.\u00a0Our specialists know the local terrain like few others do. (This will be John Paul\u2019s ninth and Seth\u2019s seventh workshop in Iceland.)<\/p>\n<p>Imagine hiking the south coast glaciers by day and photographing Iceland\u2019s glacial lagoon (Jokullsarlon) by the light of the moon under\u00a0northern lights.\u00a0Our special workshop is scheduled when conditions are excellent\u00a0for night photography.<\/p>\n<p>Join us and you\u2019ll think you\u2019ve gone to another planet \u2013\u00a0but that\u2019s the way Iceland is.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Curriculum<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Creativity, composition, workflow, and post-processing are only a few of the topics that will be presented.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ll focus extensively on night photography \u2013 long exposure, flash, light painting and of course astrophotography.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll get lots of guidance on site and reviews of your work off site.<\/p>\n<p>Get ready for a non-stop week of making images in a breathtakingly beautiful landscape!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Workshop Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An open mind, and curiosity are the primary requirements for this week.<\/p>\n<p>Participants need a digital camera, portable computer, and Photoshop or Lightroom.<\/p>\n<p>A basic comfort level with Photoshop or Lightroom is required.<\/p>\n<p>More advanced photography and digital imaging software skills are a plus.<\/p>\n<p>The more you bring to the event, the more you&#8217;ll take away.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.digitalphotodestinations.com\/participants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>\u201c(John Paul) has taught me how to be a complete artist, true to myself, while expanding my vision and creative voice.
