\nPsychologically blue is the coolest color. Blue colored rooms feel 10 degrees cooler than they measure. Tied with atmospheric effects it is associated with distance. With the long view come associations of objectivity and intelligence. Intense introspection often leads to philosophy and moral considerations. Associations include perfection, virtue, truth, trustworthiness, sincerity, purity, incorruptibility, and stability. Some cultures believe blue contains an antisceptic properties able to counteract contamination. Blue takes a tempered approach promoting safety, security, and peace. Blue relaxes, calms, and promotes sleep. Too much blue can lead to negative emotions of loneliness, melancholy and depression. In contemporary culture blue is associated with conservative values and corporate culture.<\/p>\n
